The technical side of photography deals with the lighting and composition of the subject. The essence of photography is its ability to capture the moments in our lives; the first kiss of the bride and groom, a childs innocence expressed in a smile, or the vibrant color of a flower in bloom. Photographs have the power to transport us back to another time and bring memories into focus from out of the past, preserving our journey through life.

Photography has been my passion for almost 20 years. I began with film and switched to digital seven years ago. It has been filled with the awe inspiring beauty of nature, the wonderful emotions of people, and the fleeting events in life.

My passion for photography is only eclipsed by the joy that my wife and four children have brought into my life. My wife has been so understanding and supportive of my photographic career and has been generous enough to wait for me “just one more time” to get “that photograph” many times over.
